Station Carp Lake Rules

Night fishing is allowed, 1 non-fishing guest per angler. No tents allowed, only green/brown carp bivvies permitted

Anglers must purchase a ticket before fishing

Maximum of 3 rods per angler

Only 1 angler per peg except pegs No. 1 and No.12 which are 2 man pegs. Each angler is required to have there own landing net, and carp unhooking mat, which MUST be dipped before fishing

All litter to be disposed of in bins provided please

STRICTLY NO standing with fish at anytime, including photos

No bait boats allowed

Please be courteous to our bailiff, he is there to assist and protect the fish stock

Maximum 15ib line, with braid to be used only on the hooklength.

No bolt rigs allowed, only semi fixed, i.e. no tied or shotted leads, feeders etc. (Elasticated feeders are not permitted).

No Tiger nuts, Trout pellets, seed baits, or shelf life boilies (Hemp seed purchased on - site allowed)

Floating baits are only permitted with constant vigilance to wildlife

Please do not leave your rods unattended, or leave your peg with any fish caught

Fish should be reintroduced into the lake within 5 minutes of landing

(No sacking or keep nets allowed)

GENERAL LAKE RULES

Day ticket to be purchased before fishing

LINE/TACKLE

Braid and Dacron can only be used on hook lengths
Maximum 10lb breaking strain – Minimum 2lb
Maximum lead weight 1.5oz
Semi fixed bolt rigs only permitted i.e. no shots, line stops, tied leads, tied or elasticated feeders

SUMMARY

No handling of fish with cloths – where possible always use an unhooking mat, and please do not unhook fish on pegs (slabs or timber decks).
Finally, please dispose of litter in bins provided – that’s what they are there for!
Anyone not abiding by rules as laid out above will be asked to kindly leave Lavender Hall – we value our environment and would ask you to do the same.
