Day ticket to be purchased before fishing
HOOKS
Strictly barbless hooks only !
Minimum size 20 maximum size 6
NETS
All landing (and keep nets pre match) must be dipped before fishing.
All anglers must have, and use a landing net. 1 per angler, no sharing
of nets allowed. Keepnets are only permitted in matches
BANNED BAITS
Floating baits
Trout Pellets
Tiger Nuts
Peanuts
Seed Baits
Blood Worm
Joker
Ground bait to be used in swimfeeders and pole cups only –
we do not tolerate excessive groundbaiting.
Carp pellets maximum 16mm
Cat meat and dog food to be used only in moderation
LINE/TACKLE
Braid and Dacron can only be used on hook lengths
Maximum 10lb breaking strain – Minimum 2lb
Maximum lead weight 1.5oz
Semi fixed bolt rigs only permitted i.e. no shots, line stops, tied
leads, tied or elasticated feeders
JUNIORS
No unaccompanied juniors permitted 14yrs and under. You must be
accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied juniors allowed 15yrs and
over. Identification in the form of a fishing license to be shown
at the point of day ticket purchase in all cases. No license no
fishing! Juniors are not permitted to have a none fishing guest.
SUMMARY
No handling of fish with cloths – where possible always use
an unhooking mat, and please do not unhook fish on pegs (slabs or
timber decks). The whistle will sound 30 minutes before fishery
gates close, please pack up promptly.
Finally, please dispose of litter in bins provided – that’s
what they are there for!
Anyone not abiding by rules as laid out above will be asked to
kindly leave Lavender Hall – we value our environment and
would ask you to do the same.
